We have some answers to questions you may have before booking with us.

F.A.Q.


1. Pets must be trained and guided by the guest.

2. Pets must comply with national legislation and comply with vaccination and hygiene requirements.

3. Dogs without a leash and muzzle in the common areas / condominium is prohibited.

4. Pets must not be left alone in the accommodation.

5. The pet must have its own bed, as well as a drinker and feeder; totally forbidden for the animal to lie down on sofas, chairs, single/double beds, extra beds like divans or similar.

6. Guests are responsible for animal hygiene on the property.

7. Any disturbances such as barking must be contained to ensure neighbors or other guests are not disturbed.

8. Guests are responsible for all material and/or personal damage resulting from their pet.

9. Any accommodation linen, bedspreads, or other textiles in the accommodation, which contain animal hair, is immediately considered as damaged, applying line G) (Damaged accommodation linen - € 20.00 per unit with VAT included ).

10. Accommodation too dirty with animal hair, where there is a need a longer cleaning, line G) applies (Accommodation too dirty - € 30.00 VAT included).

11. Animal hair on sofas, armchairs, mattresses or similar items, there is an additional cleaning fee of € 40.00 per unit (VAT included) to be debited from the deposit.

12. In point 9, 10 and 11 of this same line, ALGARTUR will not accept any type of argument(s) from the guest, in order to be reimbursed for the payment debited from the deposit.

13. In case there is a complaint from any neighbor or guest, of possible abandonment of the animal during the stay, ALGARTUR will be free to immediately call the competent authorities.

1. Maximum free cancellation period (For stays with entry between May 1st and September 30th): Up to 1 (one) month before the date of check-in/entrance to the guest accommodation (100% refundable). After the maximum period of free cancellation has expired, the money for the stay will not be refunded.

2. Maximum free cancellation period (Stays with entry between the 1st of October and the 30th of April): Up to 7 (seven) days before the date of check-in/entrance to the accommodation (100% refundable). After the maximum cancellation period, the money for the stay will not be refunded.

3. ALGARTUR reserves the right to cancel guests' reservations due to force majeure, such as: “overbooking”; necessary works to be carried out in the accommodation, or other relevant reasons that justify the same cancellation of the reservation. The total amount already paid by the guests to ALGARTUR regarding the reservation will be returned to a bank account to be indicated, later, by the guests.

4. Regarding the previous point, whenever possible, ALGARTUR will, before proceeding with the cancellation of the reservation, present an alternative reservation to the guests in order to avoid its cancellation.

5. Cancellation of non-refundable reservations: After payment of the total amount of the reservation, in cases of cancellation or no-show of guests, they lose the entire amount already paid to ALGARTUR in relation to the said reservation, and guests will not be refunded any amount.

6. VOUCHER - Booking Cancellation:

i. After confirming the reservation, when using the value in VOUCHER to reserve the same, if guests cancel the reservation, they will, immediately, lose the amount applied to it using the “VOUCHER”.

ii. For reservations cancelled using VOUCHER values, no free cancellation periods apply.

7. ALGARTUR is not responsible for any existing noise originating outside the accommodation, whether it is the result of works taking place nearby, repairs in common areas of the building, or of any other nature, not being, for these reasons, returned any monetary value or make any other kind of compensation.

8. ALGARTUR is not responsible for any type of anomaly or dirt originating outside the accommodation, whether in the vicinity of the building or in common areas of the building, such as swimming pool, leisure areas or others, not being, for these reasons, returned any monetary value or make any other kind of compensation.


 

1. All values/rates for accommodation reservations presented on the ALGARTUR website are values/rates including VAT at the current rate in force.

2. Values/rates for accommodation reservations may change without prior notice.

3. Cribs for babies with linen included / Baby chairs: Price €9.00 p/night.

4. Extra divan bed with linen included: Price € 25.00 p/night.

5. Additional cleaning: Between € 55.00 and € 125,00 for each additional cleaning (Ask more details).

6. Additional linen: Price € 10.00 per person.

7. Router 4G mobile internet: Price € 45.00 per stay.

 

1. Check-in at the accommodation with one of our employees can be done, at no additional cost, between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. (subject to delay)

2. Check-in at our office can be done, at no additional cost, between the hours of 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

3. Check-in at the accommodation with one of our employees between 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm has an additional cost of € 60,00.

4. Check-in at the accommodation with one of our employees after 11:00 pm has an additional cost of €80,00.

5. Alternatively, at no additional cost, you can check-in after 8:00 pm by collecting the keys of the accommodation at our office (contact us for more information).

6. Check-out or departure from the accommodation is done until 10:00 am Check-out or departure from the accommodation after 10:00 am has an additional cost of € 15.00 for each hour exceeded after 10:00 am.

7. Between the period of June 1st to September 30th, the time of entry to the property may be later than usual due to external factors such as increased traffic flow on the road, atypical flow of entries or check-in’s’ in accommodations on the same day, longer time to prepare the property due to unforeseen circumstances, among others.

 

1. Guests must not exceed the previously defined maximum capacity of persons accommodated.

2. Pets are allowed inside the accommodation, being the permission of the same animals subject to a prior approval request to ALGARTUR. If this request for prior approval is approved, guests will have to pay an additional damage protection deposit of € 300.00 on the moment of check-in/entrance to the accommodation (in certain accommodations, pets are not allowed).

3. Guests are not allowed to smoke inside the accommodation.

4. Guests are not allowed to use a portable stove, gas, or charcoal stove, as well as a portable barbecue in the accommodation, except when this accommodation, by itself, already has a barbecue or similar (Coal or gas cylinders for BBQ are not provided).

5. With the non-compliance, by the guests, with the previously mentioned points, their stay will be considered as cancelled, and therefore, no monetary or other compensation will be returned for the cancellation of their stay.

6. Guests must respect the normal periods of silence and rest, avoiding conflicts with tenants and/or neighbours.

7. If the accommodation has access to the pool, guests must respect the rules defined by the condominium.

8. If the accommodation has the right to a parking space, guests must make sure that they park their vehicles in the space belonging to the same accommodation.

9. After check-out/departure of the guests from the accommodation and after verifying the same, ALGARTUR considers that the accommodation is too dirty, or checks for the existence of garbage bags to be dumped inside the accommodation, ALGARTUR reserves the right to charge said guests an additional amount, this amount to be debited from the damage protection deposit previously made by the guests.

10. When, after the check-out/departure of the guests from the accommodation, ALGARTUR verifies the existence of unwashed dishes, barbecue, or similar dirty dishes, ALGARTUR, as a result of said situation, will charge the guests an additional cost, the amount previously deposited as a damage protection deposit by them.

 

The damage protection deposit must be made by the guests to ALGARTUR upon entry/check-in at the accommodation, and the said deposit must be made using the guest's credit card or cash. 


Comments: 

In some accommodations, the said deposit must be made through an online platform, accredited for the act and to be indicated by Algartur itself. 

ALGARTUR reserves the right to activate and/or debit values from guests' credit cards and presented by them as guarantee, in order to be able to bear the costs it deems necessary to carry out repairs to the accommodation, repair and/or replace objects. damaged or missing during your stay. 

After booking made by guests, through the various booking channels made available, guests automatically consider accepted the “general conditions and terms of reservation”, thus also accepting the aforementioned conditions of deposits. These same reservation channels provide ALGARTUR with the data of the credit cards used by guests to make reservations. 

The amounts deposited and/or blocked in the form of a damage protection deposit to ALGARTUR, by guests, may be charged and/or debited by ALGARTUR up to a maximum period of seven working days after the date of departure/check-out of guests from the accommodation. 

 

REFUNDS OF SECURITY DEPOSIT IN CASH 

The refund in cash to guests of the security deposit will be given to them, whenever possible, at the time of their departure/check-out of the accommodation. 

REFUNDS OF SECURITY DEPOSIT IN CREDIT CARD 

Refund to guests of the security deposit will be given to them within a maximum period of seven working days after the date of departure/check-out of the accommodation.

1. Any claim of any kind will only be accepted within a maximum period of up to 1 hour after check-in or guests entering the accommodation.

2. Guest reservation is protected and private. Since, when the same guests make a reservation, their data is protected, not being provided to third parties.

3. Guest privacy is protected. All requested data will only be used to guarantee your reservation.

5. ALGARTUR reserves the right not to rent accommodation to guests who previously had behaviours considered, by itself, as inappropriate or who, with the intention of obtaining some type of compensation, presented complaints considered by ALGARTUR to be unjustified.

6. ALGARTUR is not responsible for any disappearance or theft of objects, nor is it responsible for values left or forgotten by guests inside the accommodation.

7. ALGARTUR recommends that guests, before their trips and stays, take out travel insurance with insurers.

8. All accommodations have on the ALGARTUR website footer, a direct link to the Booking Conditions (LEGAL NOTE - https://algartur.com/9/legal-note ).

9. All communications sent for the purpose of paying a down payment or all reservations contain a direct link to the Booking Conditions.

10. After confirming and paying the down payment or the entire booking, the booking conditions are considered automatically accepted by the guests.

 

1. The minimum length of stay is 5 nights.

2. Long-term stays are allowed, subject to prior approval from ALGARTUR.

 

1. To confirm and guarantee reservations, guests must pay a down payment of 25% on the total amount of the reservation within 24 hours of making the reservation.

2. A second payment of 25% of the total reservation amount must be made by guests within 24 hours after the end of the free cancellation period.

3. The payment of the remaining amount of the reservation is made, by the guests, up to the moment of check-in/entrance of the same in the accommodation, and the same payment can be made in cash, by bank transfer, with ATM or with certified check. (Foreign checks are not accepted).

4. Non-refundable reservations: Payment for the reservation must be made in full after confirmation. (Up to 24 hours after confirming the same reservation.)



 

1. In addition to the total amount to be paid by guests for their stays, they will have to do a damage protection deposit to cover possible damages caused by them.

2. The value of the damage protection deposit for the guest's stay is mentioned in the advertising of each property on our website.

3. On the day of guests' check-in/entry into the accommodation, ALGARTUR, if it deems it necessary, reserves the right to charge guests an additional damage protection deposit which may vary between the amounts of € 1,000, 00 and/or up to €15,000.00.

4. ALGARTUR, when it deems necessary, reserves the right to charge guests, from the amounts previously deposited in the form of a damage protection deposit, all monetary amounts that it deems necessary to cover costs with repairs to the accommodation, repair and replacement of damaged objects or replacement of objects omitted by guests during their stay, being the same faithful responsible for the proper use of the accommodation and all items made available to them during their stay.

5. When ALGARTUR verifies that the monetary amounts required to carry out repairs to the accommodation, repair and replacement of damaged items or replacement of missing objects as a result of misuse by guests during their stay, are greater than the monetary amounts previously deposited by the same in the form of a damage protection deposit, ALGARTUR reserves the right, after informing the guests, to budget and/or invoice them for the respective costs incurred or that it understands will occur to carry out repairs to the accommodation, repair and replacement of damaged items or replacement of missing objects.

Lost Objects:

When, in case of object(s) lost and/or forgotten by guests inside the accommodation, when guests ask to send said object(s) (to address to be indicated by them), ALGARTUR reserves the right to charge guests the amounts incurred or that it understands may occur with shipping costs. In cases of “urgent shipping requests” of said object(s) by guests, they will be charged an additional amount of € 50.00 (VAT Including).

1. The values available in VOUCHER can be used in reservations in all accommodation available on the ALGARTUR website.

2. The values available in the VOUCHER can be applied in full or, to be discounted in stays greater than the existing amount in it.

3. When booking with the use of existing VOUCHER values, if the stay values are lower than the existing VOUCHER values, they will not be returned.

4. The VOUCHER is transferable to other guests, always having to be communicated to ALGARTUR which are the new users of the VOUCHER by the previous holders.

5. The validity of the use of the amounts available in the VOUCHER is one year after its acquisition or reception.

6. After the expiration of the VOUCHER, the holders of the same lose the possibility of using the same, not existing the opportunity for the holders to be reimbursed of any monetary value, considering the same VOUCHER as lost.

7. The VOUCHER is only valid for use in stays during its validity period, and VOUCHER holders may never make any reservation for stays in accommodation after the expiration date.

8. To request or use a VOUCHER, purchasers, or holders of the same simply need to contact ALGARTUR using the form on its website or via email.

9. VOUCHER - Booking Cancellation:

i. After confirming the reservation, made using the amounts available on the VOUCHER, if guests cancel the same, the same holders of the VOUCHER immediately lose the amount thereof.

ii. For reservations cancelled using the VOUCHER there is no free cancellation period.

 

1. Initial and final cleaning is included in the stay.

2. Bed linen is included in the stay.

3. Bath, face and shower towels are included in the stay.

4. Cleaning and change of accommodation linen is weekly.

5. Stays equal to or less than 7 nights will not be entitled to intermediate cleaning, change of bed linen or bath towels.
